Hey y'all! I've been wanting to get into DnD ever since I watched my friends play irl during my time in undergrad. Since then, I've watched Critical Role, as well as other campaigns on twitch, but I've never been brave enough to actually play myself. However, after some encouragement from some friends, I've finally delved into character building and rules, and would love to actually play a campaign. I have two level 1 characters that I've created, (I believe,) in accordance with 5e rules, but I'm more than happy to submit them for inspection to a DM, or to create new characters entirely. I have discord, and am fairly flexible in terms of time, (I'm a grad student,) and although I don't have any experience in DnD, I have spent significant amounts of time in RP-heavy MMOs, so I'm very comfortable with Role Play and backstory creation. As might be expected, I would need guidance on the actual gameplay, but I'm a quick learner, and am eager to gain experience, so you'll find me very receptive and open to feedback, critique, or advice. About myself - I'm 24, F, American based out of the UK, currently in grad school, and I have to travel for fieldwork, so irl campaigns probably won't work for me, but online campaigns would be perfect, and I'd love to be a part of a long term campaign, where I can get to know other people, and develop my understanding of the game in a safe environment. If you have a group that might be willing to take on a n00b like myself, please send me a message! <3
