QOL RE:Text Masks and Map Lock

I've seen threads on both of these, both several years old with no official R20 response, so I figured it would be good to bring the topics up again. Having the ability to lock position of objects on the Map layer would be extremely helpful. My current workaround is putting everything in on the tokens layer and then moving them around before shifting them over, but it's rather disruptive to workflow and it would be far more convenient to just be able to work directly on the layer. On a similar note, the labels I'm attempting to insert are very hard to read, and a tesk mask/background option similar to what you see in graphic design tools like PS and CAD would be extremely helpful. There's a workaround where you can create a shape and place it behind the text, but it's extremely tedious for something that could be done far more conveniently.
