I am hoping you can start something in KNIGHT HAWKS. I am a bit weak on those rules, never got into them, but it should be easy to set up since it's like a boardgame and Tom S. already imaged the classic cardboard chits from the game. I've only done most of the Alpha Dawn chits so far. The master sheet of re-edited Alpha Dawn and Knight Hawks counters are here, but they don't seem as "lustrous" as the original box. http://www.starfrontiersman.com/PDF/Star%20Fronties%20Counters.pdf I got a hold of a scan from the SF fans of the original-box KH counters (22 MB, 400 dpi): http://downstat.homestead.com/files/Star_Frontiers/KH-counters-400dpi.png You set up a Campaign, call it STAR FRONTIERS KNIGHT HAWKS whatever, set up a picture of an (unobtrusive) star field (of small stars) on a hexagonal grid (horizontal hexes). With horizontal hexes, opponents arrive from the left or the right. Prepare tokens in the token layer on the side of the map which you can then assign to players according to their forces. You can make "character sheets" only each will be ship stats and the active stats for the game can be set up as abilities to link to tokens. You can figure out what you want the 3 token stats to mean and any special token symbols (of which there are now many to choose from). Type up the sheets in the Characters section of the Journal. There must be one sheet per ship, not just ship type, so you can track hit points of each ship. You might make different maps for different scenarios, but planets are treated as just another cardboard chit, so the same map should work for everything. In the Handouts section of the Journal, you can take the important table pages from the rules and post them as accessible in All Players' journals so we can pop them up and reference them any time. The reference sheets are here: http://starfrontiersman.com/PDF/Knight%20Hawks%20Quick%20Reference.pdf DWD Studios offers printed books at cost (on Lulu.com) but all the Star Frontiers materials are available in .pdf for free. The old Starfrontiersman directory gives the chits and maps and other stuff as well: http://www.starfrontiersman.com/PDF http://www.dwdstudios.com/sfdrdownloads
