Hi, everybody! McFly, here. I'm looking for a DM and fellow players to participate in an epic (possibly ongoing) campaign set in the world created by the DM of Critical Role, Matt Mercer! I'm looking for a total of 7 players and 1 creatively talented DM. The campaign is set within the world of Exandria, 50 years after the adventures of Vox Machina and 30 years after the adventures of The Mighty Nein. The world's culture and technology has certainly changed, but that bit of detail is up to the mind of the DM. The campaign is set to launch in 3 weeks, on July 15th! I've been playing as a DM myself for the last 2 years, and I'm dying to be a player again! Critical Role was the first example of D&D 5E I got to see in action, and I fell in love with it. Before that, due to the mainstream media's perception of the game as a whole, I honestly thought it was the lowest form of nerd there was. Fortunately Matt and the cast of Critical Role were able to perform a full scale rescue and save me from the "Dark Side" ways of my thinking. As someone who has grown up in the theatre crowd my whole life, the ever present nature of roleplay and imagination that D&D offers completely encapsulated me and made me feel at home. I love this game and I love Critical Role, and I would love to find a good group of players I can share that love with. So if you're interested, please join me in The World of Exandria, a Critical Role themed campaign! I'm still looking for a DM that I can work with, and eventually begin to decide on the players who join. The opening setting is set up in Shamal Bay, but that's the only input the DM will get from me on world building. After that, I resort to the rules of the player. As for the rest of the group, I'm looking for a diverse and unique group of players/characters to take this adventure with! Who knows, should this be as awesome and as fun of an experience as I hope will be, then I would even be willing to someday turn this into a fan fiction podcast for all to enjoy! So... Be creative! Be original! And submit your application!
