PHB purchase question

If I purchase the PHB on roll20, will I be able to use it if I am a player in a game rather than the creator or dm?

You will be able to use it in any game where you are a player. You will only be able to share it in games where you are the creator. I assume that you could create a game, share the PHB compendium and hand over the DM role to another player, but I'm not positive on that last.
yes you can with in your sharing limit.

In a game where you are a player, the creator must first turn on compendium access for you to be able to access your copy of the PHB in that game.

Can you load this page: https://roll20.net/compendium/dnd5e/Backgrounds:Noble#content If you can, the purchase was successful. If you can't, there might be a problem. Either way, I'll point the devs at this error. Probably best if you email team@roll20.net with your account details and verify that everything went through correct.

Usually when I get that error, a refresh of the page takes me to where I was intending to go.
I'm fairly new here, but have spent the last couple of days setting up a lot of stuff and adding modules/compendiums to "test environments" for a game I plan on running. Doing my due diligence and all. I notice quite a few times when adding new content that things get a bit buggy. I'm not sure if this is the "best" way to handle things, but I simply exit the game - clear my cache/cookies - fully close all instances of the browser and then reload. 100% of the time this has fixed things for me, and that was the same error I would get when adding new content. Hope that helps.
