5e How to level characters

I'm really sorry if this has been posted before, but I've searched and can't find any answer to this. How do I level a character to get the next level worth it skills / attributes on the 5E OGL Sheet? I have a Level 1 Barb that I want to level to 2 and get the skills (Reckless Attack etc) but can't see how. I've tried dragging and dropping, but didnt work and saw that people said it wasn't possible to drag and drop skills in. Is there a way to do it so that levelling a character will auto populate this, auto roll the hit dice etc? If not do I have to copy and paste the ability in? Does that mean that I shouldn't rely on the macros after a certain level because there will need to be other passive skills I need to factor into rolls? Sorry for the multiple questions - first time playing on roll20.
The charactermancer currently only handles level 1 characters. Higher levels will eventually be included, but the devs are trying to refine the process and reduce the number of bugs to it before setting their eyes on this functionality. So yes, you will need to copy-paste abilities of higher level character's into the character sheet. I'm not sure what macros you are talking about here.
