Edward’s post-campaign: After defeating Saeren, Edward accepted the title of Duke of Seastone Isle, and became the Grand Admiral of the Eris navy. With his newfound reputation and popularity as Aenor’s (and now Saeren’s) bane, Edward had little difficulty recruiting ample hands to repopulate his new isle. In short order, the docks, harbor defenses, sea wall, and castle were all completed. The chapel of Saerenae was restored, and given its significance as a holy site of Felara, many pilgrims come to the site to worship. (Never one to let an opportunity go to waste, Edward naturally levied a small tax on anyone visiting the island) For his part, Edward is conspicuously absent from the temple, finding it difficult to worship someone he considers a friend. Those close to Edward, however, note that he has a small statue of a sword wielding tiefling in his rooms. As for the monk temple, it was almost entirely destroyed in the attack, and as such, Edward decided to relocate the surviving monks to the city of Eris, where the new king will no doubt make good use of their skills. (Edward quips that they will be the “fists of the king” but nobody else seems to think this is very funny) The mountainside and surrounding area makes for excellent vineyards, and Seastone wine quickly becomes well known as an excellent vintage. As for the island itself, Edward has worked hard to turn it into a major trade hub. As the province closest to both the elf kingdoms and Eris, Seastone makes for an excellent halfway point in which to trade goods. This is further facilitated by the fey portal, where trade between fey and the mortal realm can take place. Edward cites his success with fey trading to his “special relationship” with the fey. (The fey politely disagree, but not loudly enough for Edward to revoke their special treatment.) Edward’s current project is to tunnel back to the skaven undercities, and establish trade routes with them, and is currently digging a tunnel for that purpose. Of course, with such riches comes pirates, but the Grand Admiral of Eris is up to the challenge. With the captured and reacquired ships courtesy of the elvish invasion, Edward was quickly able to put together a top notch fleet, and is more than capable of smashing any pirate. (Assuming he can find them of course) Cluney was promoted to Captain, and as the Captain of Edward’s flagship, essentially manages the fleet. Captain Norman was promoted to Commander, and retains his position of commander of Seastone’s defenses, which are more formidable than ever. With such riches come great opportunity for promotion, and 4th Mate "the Biebs" is no exception. Coincidentally, immediately after one of Edward's captains pilfered the wine cellar, the Biebs was promoted to first mate and transferred to that captain's ship. All in all, the hairy dolphin flag flies proudly over Seastone.
