New to Roll20 - player not DM

Hi Just found Roll20 and as an excited newbie to the world tabletop D&D am keen to join a group that will welcome a inexperienced newcomer. However, I can't seem to find any really good help/tutorial on the site for newbies who do not want to create their own game. At this stage I just want to learn how to be a player! Where do I look. Above all else I always coach patience, there is a large amount of players compared to GMs so finding a group can be tricky, finding the right group even more so. Don't be put off if it takes a while though, this community is second to none and the hobby is well worth taking the time to get involved in :)

Hi Wendy. I know your pain! I went through the same difficulties as you did. I've setup a repository/game room with lots of helpful guides on D&amp;D and getting started - With a huge focus on pointing out how D&amp;D isn't that scary, and that many guides will be overcomplicated. PM me if you have any questions. - I try and run newbie focused one-shot games whenever I can.

Thanks Ziechael - I had a quick look at that last night so I will go ahead and start a game and have a play. Once I am ready to jump in I will try and be patient getting into a game. Hopefully there are some Aussie games going that may need a newbie!
