Hello all, I'm looking to run a 5th Edition D&D game in a homebrew northern styled fantasy setting. A quick primer on the setting is available here: https://sites.google.com/view/northlandersguide/ The premise of the game revolves around the characters being members of an Alfiran House. Houses in Alfir function more like guilds than european noble lines, so there is no inherent need for all the characters to be related, though they will all share a bond to the house and, by extension, to each other. The house can represent anything from a thieves guild, to a troupe of minstrels, to monster hunters, to a band of battle-kin. As part of our session 0, the players will cooperatively develop this house, including its history and some of its current membership and status. Player characters will not be made until after the house is made. This game will implement a small number of homebrew mechanics, restrictions, and options to reinforce flavor and aesthetic. If you are interested in the world and in building a piece of the setting together, you can read further and apply here" https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/124069/legacy-of-alfir You can also find a living FAQ thread there should you have any questions.
