[LFG] Critical Role fan looking to join character-driven/RP heavy game. New to roll20!

Hi there! As the title says, I'm new to roll20, and I've just begun playing D&D, but I'm eager to play! I bought the Player's Handbook, and I am willing to learn anything and everything. I'm a writer, so actually developing the characters is more important to me than battling. Not that I don't love a good battle too, lol! I'm just looking for a group where I can also develop a story. I'm super into CR, I love the group's dynamics. I can play on Discord, but I haven't played on roll20 yet, so I'd need a session to get the gist of it first. I don't mind playing a class your party might need. I have no preferences there. I'm broke, and also Argentine (the exchange rate is 1 USdll-30 ARp, so, impossible, yeah), so sadly, I can't join paid games. I would, definitely, I know how much work some DMs put into their games, but it's just not possible for me atm. That said, we'd also have to see if I can join the game time-wise. Arg is -3 GMT, so it's 1 hs ahead of NY and 4 hs ahead of LA. Okay, I think I covered everything? ^^
Well if you love character development and love dnd i would love to invite you to https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/6708725/lfp-dandd-5e-weekly-the-mouse-journey/?pageforid=6719466#post-6719466
Hey there friend! My GM and I are actually fans of Critical Role, my GM more particularly. We’re currently planning out a campaign in Pathfinder (which is the original game they were playing before they started their podcast) this coming Sunday at 3:30PM PST (LA time) and would love for you to join us. Systematically, it’s very similar to D&D though there are some minor differences such as feats and class abilities. Our current campaign is set to involve pirates! Characters are gang pressed into joining a crew which can leave for a lot of room for character development. Our party is very free-form and aren’t necessarily all about party composition, meaning we prefer to have players play whatever it is that they’d like. While this campaign will involve sailing the seas and potentially running into ships, the overall story will focus more on the world of pirates rather than sailing around and attacking others. My friend and I are very knowledgeable about the game in itself and can easily provide you with the player handbooks/necessary books required to play the game. If that sounds interesting to you, feel free to add me on discord! corgi#0607

Your game sounds very cool, and I would definitely like to try Pathfinder someday. Thanks for the invite! Keep me in mind for other games that might come up! Or if my Sunday game ends up falling apart, I'll let you know.
Not a problem! We do have other games and a few more we may be interested in setting up. We will definitely keep you in mind during that time! Best of luck in finding a game~ c:
