Hello to this thread, I am an avid Hero System player. It is my favorite system, specially fantasy. (I am backing their 6th edition Fantasy Hero Complete KickStarter campaign.) I would love to get into a Champions game in (4th, 5th or 6th edition). I have all the books necessary, tons of game system experience, and a deep love for it. Unfortunately, I do not (yet) have the time for a GM commitment, otherwise I'd be out there running it (as I have before). If you are interested in a seasoned veteran player, look me up. Hey, I just noticed that DriveThruRPG is selling 6th Edition Hero System PDF's at 80% off; ten bucks for both the big 6th edition rulebooks and 5 bucks for 6th edition Champions! Hey, it's great to see everyone posting their Hero System love here, but I am wondering if anyone is actually finding Hero System games or players and, you know, actually playing a Hero System game here on rolld20 as a result? I'm thinking just posting here and waiting for someone to read your post and follow up with you isn't going to be as effective as: 1) Subscribing ("Following") to the topic. 2) Reading through the other posts to find one that sounds like someone you'd try gaming with in a rolld20 session. 3) Taking the initiative to click on their user name link and send them a message asking if they're still interested in playing in a Hero System game or have an opening in a Hero System game that they're running, or whatever. :) Maybe even post a testimonial or something just saying when you have had success and are in a game as a result of making contact through this topic? Thanks. ;)

I check for new games every other day or so. If someone puts up a LFG flag, I'll be all over it.

@Fyndhal Cool! Um, what do you mean exactly by, "LFG flag"? Do you mean posting in this thread that they'd love to play Hero System? Cause there are a lot of posts that say that...or do you mean, actually listing with the official game system designation in their profile as looking for that game? Because we can't do that; Hero System is not (yet!) listed on the official game systems.

Start a game with the Other Games option and in the description list Hero System as the rule set. Then open it for new players/invites and viola...there ya go!

Are there any HERO games currently in need of a new/returning (to Roll20 - not HERO) player?

There was a Hero Unlimited game up up a day or two ago.

@Megan, Hero Unlimited is a Palladium game - at least in print, not sure what the campaign system would be on here though. @Hero G. I agree with all your 3 points noted above. Once I can get to grips with setting up a campaign I will be LFP for a HERO system game, probably 5er (Fred to some of you). For the record, if you have a HERO system game on here and you need another player, then PM me. I have run and played all genres of HERO, and editions from Champions II thru to 5er (got 6th PDF, but not played yet).

Ah, I was confusing the games. I've never seen Champions referred to that way.
