Actually, the ability to disable a listing for a full game is on the other end of the process ... the GM gets that choice. Looking For Player listings can be disabled by the GM, so, you have to assume that a GM with their listing enabled does not consider their game full despite the number of open spots listed. So apply to the game! For my first game, I had to invite 11 players to get 5 to the table! Now, I advertised that my game was great for new role players so, of course, I got iffy commitments. But the moral of the story is ... if I had disabled my listing at 0 open slots, I would not have played. If people ignored my listing at 0 open slots, I would not have played.
