There are three players, including myself, looking for a relaxed D&D 5th Edition game. Another player and I are experienced in D&D 5E, that player is also an active DM in another campaign. We are looking for a game that is friendly to a totally new person to 5E and would like a group that is about fun instead of breaking the game balance or giving the DM a hard time. 2/3 are willing to use Voice/Text/Video and the other prefers their privacy, she would like to use text. It will not be only on the DM to help the new player along, we'll all do what we can. That goes for the world creation and driving the plot within the campaign; we'll work together with the DM. Player Info Age Range: 23-30 Gender: 2 male & 1 female Experience: 2 heavily experienced & 1 brand new Communication: Voice & Text preferred. Time Slot: Saturday 8pm EST - Until Finished, Sunday 10pm - Until Finished ( A combination of 3rd shift workers & Australia ) Schedule: Weekly, every other week, or monthly Campaign length: Whatever works Setting: Low-High medieval fantasy primarily* *Since this will be the first game for a player, it would be better to leave out heavy homebrew themes such as cyberpunk or steampunk out of it and stick to the fundamental setting. That being said, homebrew elements such as magic items, enemies, and so forth ... bring it on. If you're wanting a group that'll work with you instead of against you, a group that'll treat you well and wants you to enjoy DMing as much as we'll enjoy playing; you can count on us. We're easy going, cheeky, mature (when the situation calls for it), and most importantly we aren't murder-hobos. We're looking for some plot heavy roleplay, though combat & dice are not discouraged. We also understand the practical limitations of time for a DM to get materials together: You won't let us down if you tell us that you haven't made a backstory for X person or Y person because they're ultimately irrelevant to the plot. We want to work with you because we know how it is to be a DM where players feel more like a chore, rather then the characters telling their story within the world you created. If you're interested in absorbing this group into your own or testing this group out as a DM, leave a message below. Please state: A ge: Gender (optional): DM (Yes/No/Other): Experience with 5E: If this is your first attempt at DM'ing, no worries! You can still apply. The two of us are experienced enough that we can help along a DM with complex interactions or double-checking encounter difficulty. That being said, do not feel intimidated: we won't rules lawyer you, you're the DM in this campaign and we'll respect your decisions (maybe with some desperate pleading, bribing, or so forth ;) ).
