multi-person whispers?

is it possible for two players to whisper to each other and include the GM? I have set their character sheets to be controlled by my screen name in addition to the sheet's player controller in an effort to make this work, but haven't been able to get two players online yet to tst so I thought I would ask here as well.

I think you've got it right.  Anyone that has permission to control a sheet/character will get the whisper to that sheet/character.  So in theory, if you whisper to "Bob" and multiple player's have control of "Bob", they would all receive the whisper.  If you added yourself (even as the GM) control of each sheet/character, you will also receive whispers sent to that sheet/character.
Yes, that will work. You can use this to simulate languages as well. If you have character sheet named "Elvish" or "Finno-Ugric" or whatever, give the players controll over that sheet who know the language, and whispers to "Language" will be visible to those players. This is much easier than telling the player, "OK, so your character now knows Russian, so you have until game time to learn Russian." "Теперь вы знаете русский"
There is just one thing with this method: You won't be able to tell if the whisper was send to you or the player. To include this functionality you could write a macro somewhat like this one: /w "?{to whom|PlayerA|PlayerB|PlayerC}" ?{message} /w gm To ?{to whom} was whispered: ?{message} You would have to tell your players to use it instead of typing directly into chat, and your players will know you listened.  So after writing this I'm not sure if I would actually use it, because it could clutter the chat for the players easily. But I'll add it as a suggestion anyways.
thank you all, i have figured out that it works for what i needed by adding myself to the controlling list on each character sheet.
