I wanted to discuss a couple things at the game tonight. 1. Switching our weekly game to bi-weekly. With spring coming up, my con schedule and family stuff will be getting in the way of our games. I've actually looked and if we play next week and begin bi-weekly games, there's only a couple weekends where we would be making up. This also means that our missing fellow won't be missing a number of sessions over the next month or so. 2. Playing a Saga Edition game after the end of Episode 2 I actually came up with a plot hook for a campaign. While I haven't finalized the details for it, wanted to see if there's interest first. It would mostly take place during the beginning stages of the Rebellion Era, however your characters would be brought in from some earlier timeline we can decide. Was thinking Jedi Civil War, Second Great Galactic War, Clone Wars. Those are the big ones.
1) I would prefer to keep a weekly schedule, with sometimes a week off, to keep the rythm and lessen the risk of people forgetting about the game. but if you have a busy shedule, well you are the mistress ! ;:) 2) why not. I would prefer to stay with a eote game but if you are more confortable with saga edition or if the plot hook is better with this edition... I never played it but i played the previous d20 incarnation.

I was highly considering running a play by post alongside our bi-weekly sessions. For both the EoTE and the Saga game. Regardless, I think I'm going to discontinue this EOTE game after the second module. If you guys wish to follow me to the Saga game, you'd have first dibs to the spots.
1) I like the weekly sessions, but obviously only if we have everyone there. A play-by-post to accompany our bi-weekly sessions would be good for keeping the game moving. I would like it if we tried to add that to this game before we go on the bi-weekly schedule. 2) That will definitely take some refreshing. Like a lot of games, I've read a lot of the SWSE sourcebooks, but never got to play. But I am interested. And if I might ask, what made you decide not to continue with EotE?

Jake Y. said: And if I might ask, what made you decide not to continue with EotE? It's just not really grabbing me like Saga Edition did, and for the plot hook, I thought of EotE isn't really a very good system for it. I think it limits character possibilities too much.

I threw up an interest check on the forum I manage. If anyone is interested in the game after this one, please let me know. Preferably on that site as I'll be using it primarily for the game. http://galacticcampaigns.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=159&t=25415
I have no issue with changing to every other week. However, I won't be joining you guys for a shift over to Saga. I'm just not interested in that. Oddly enough, it has nothing to do with the setting, as any of those potential setting is just as interesting if not more. I'm just not interested in Saga. But please don't let my lack of interest influence anyone's decision. I have enjoyed myself and I'll miss you all. From my understanding then, we will continue playing a second module using EotE. When we end that module it would shift over to Saga. However, we would immediately shift over to every other week play. Is that correct?
