I am sure you are tired of hearing this but...

Our whole family just bought Kindle fire tablets in hopes of playing roll20 while being comfortable in bed or in the living room. Seeing as Samsung tablets cost nearly 3 times as much the Kindle seems to be pretty popular.  Any plans at all in the works to port this app to Amazon? If not obviously we can kinda sorta make it work via the browser but that has it's own problems. Thanks.

As a pro user, you and anyone who joins your games can access the game via your mobile browser. This method actually gives you more features than the app.
As Scott said, accessing Roll20 through a browser on your Kindle will give you the best experience.  The Roll20 app is kind of lackluster at the moment. At least on Android.  If you're still keen on trying the app, Google sideloading the play store and apps onto your Kindle.
