More readable ruler tool?

Hi all, this is a problem for me for ages. Recently I've been use large maps (says 500x500ft) in my campaign, and as I zoomed out to look at the whole map and try to figure out if someone in the other end of the map is in range or not, the reading on the ruler tool also become too small to read. So I am thinking it would be better to keep the reading on the ruler in reasonable font size as I zoom out the map. Cheers.

+1 Yet another feature that makes large maps unmanageable. The numbers on the ruler are impossible to see at a distance. Would love it if they would scale to my view of the map, rather than the map itself.

Yeah it's difficult to read reading on the ruler, Maetco provide good suggestions to make reading of ruler more visible.
