In-Game Calendar

I just had an idea for a helpful feature. An in-game calendar. I suppose you would need to be able to set different lengths of days and months and be able to name them all. But what I want it for is a semi-automated feature where I, as DM, advance the time, either by the minute or hour or day, and certain things can happen automatically. For example, the party recently found a magic item that has a cumulative 1% chance per day of doing something relevant; but it would be cool if I could just input the item into the calendar and have it just make the roll every day automatically, and then when it finally hits it will pop up with a message. It could also track things like weather, or anything you want to take the time to program into it.

Hey Mike. As a Pro member with access to the API, there are a few calendars out there that you can include in your games. Robin released on recently, which allows you to put in custom calendars: Lazy Calendar . I have one that has calendars ready to go for several published settings, which includes random weather tables and time of day: Multi-World Calendar
