[LFG][D&D 5e] Brand New Player Looking to Learn in a One-Shot

Not new to RPGs, but new to tabletop gaming in general and in search of a benevolent soul (or souls) willing to help me learn the intricacies of D&D.  I have some background, having played some isometric RPGs and a recent binge through Critical Role, but I know that's rather minimal when it comes to knowledge of the game.  I don't want to commit to a campaign, just in case I find that this isn't for me, so I'm looking for a one-shot to test the waters.  I'm willing to work out an ideal time for anyone willing to take the time out to spread the love of the game to one of a curious nature.  Or multiple, if some other new players want to tag along as well.  I appreciate everyone who has taken the time out to read this, and I hope to play with some of you in the future!

I recently ran a one shot for new players that I'd be willing to run again if our schedules line up and you're okay with it being text-only format.  What's your time zone?

How exactly would text-only format work?  I'd certainly be willing to try it, I believe.  And I'm on EST.

Text-only in this case means that roleplaying will be typed instead of spoken.  Everything would take place over roll20.  

I do enjoy the freedom that the written word can give, so I'm interested.  It would probably be a good first step as well in learning the foundations of the game, I'm sure.

Did you need some more players? I'd love to join in. I pretty much know the rules, but I rarely play so I Iove beginner games. I'm mostly available weekdays at like 4-11 EST.

I would also be interested in this, if there's room! Weekdays from 5 -11 EST work well for me too.
