Hi, I'm unable to upload my cover image into my marketplace announcement post. When I try, the text area goes white and the text an almost opaque gray, but nothing happens. However, I'm able to upload the same image in a reply to said post. The same thing happens when I attempt it on my iPhone 10 using Chrome. https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7159985/hear-ye-hear-ye-new-map-set-instant-dungeon-crawl-magic-places On my PC: Chrome Version 72.0.3626.81 (Official Build) (64-bit) I also received a notification today that "ios m" replied to my original post, but when I checked it out, there was nothing there. But the main forum screen shows that there are two replies to my original post instead of just one.
Hello Patrick Von Raven, Sorry to hear you are having this issue. To rule out any other potential issues, could you please carefully work through these steps of our guide to Solving Technical Issues ? Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, can you also post a screenshot showing this issue here? Thank you!

The missing post was likely a removed piece of spam. I saw several by that user myself.

Image uploading on the forums is finicky sometimes. It's the same for admins as for users-- it just fails sometimes, and is something on the "to fix" list if we can ever figure out why it fails.) Here's what I do: Create your post and save it, without images. Open the developer tools (F12). Drag/drop or use the uploader to put the image in. If the window goes white, look at the console and see if there's a red error message (there usually is when this happens). If so, uploading failed. Reload the browser and try again. Because you saved the post, you won't lose anything. When the blue spinner runs, it's actually uploading. Wait a minute. When the image finishes uploading, save the post. Repeat for each image (save after each one). It's not elegant, but it's how I get pictures into the announcement posts and forum threads. It can take several refreshes to get the image to finally upload.

I do something similar, but compose the post in a private game forum thread. Once everything is set, I copy and paste the whole thing into the proper thread. That way, I avoid posting until it's in its final form. Posting images has to be the top of my list of annoyances.
