a couple looking for a game

hello there, i'm an avid table top gamer and have been looking to try and get a game going on here. my girl friend has not played one before and would like to join (she plays forum games a lot but no table tops.) she is willing and eager to learn. so far we have nothing we want or don't want, though i cannot stand 4th edition dnd and have played 3rd almost all my life and am craving something new. been looking into GURPs and savage world but don't mind pathfinder. i also found a rpg system that's very different but still fun. (great for jrpg style games) i'll leave a link for it here. oh and almost forgot, sunday is the best day for us. again, NOT a brony (she likes it though.) gave the show a fair shot couldnt get into it. the system itself is great though and i play the non pony version. we are both american our selfs. so were do we go to vote on this?

I was under the impression that the Pony Tales system was designed to just need voice chat and nothing else? A tabletop game without the tabletop, if you will.

there are both versions. a skype version and one with moves and rules for a grid... if you want the more jrpg thing go with the skype version. look over it but again, i warn you... its VERY diffrent. for instance... in combat you dont miss. ever... you have points (starting each battle with 4) and every move gives or takes away points depending on their effectiveness. (quick step wich lets you move an extra 3 squares in the grid version gives you 3 as an example while exploit weakness takes 3) if you dont have the points cant do the move. so you cant miss, but you have to manage your energy. oh and your hp are not hp... they are the energy it takes to avoid the hit with getting down to 0 being the one you couldnt dodge. (so a high 'damage; attack just tires you out.)
