---Outbound Message--- ---Intended recipient: Lord Breetai--- ---Source of communique: Lt Xavior--- ---Subject: CMD Xander medical clearance, information query.--- There are curiosities about these Micronians that puzzle me.   They are not birthed into a warrior culture as are we, the Zentraedi race. They are chaotic, electing to fight for any of a multitude of reasons, or not too, for similarly given reasons.   Some seek out conflict and violence with a focused intensity, while others expend copious hours avoiding conflict. Such matters clearly have implications for our warriors in respects to our alliance with these creatures. In my humble belief sir. Thus, seeking to find a common thread, an expected code of behavior or conduct for these beings, I began probing into their histories. The destruction a significant portion of this race by orbital bombardments made obtaining reliable information difficult, coupled with what I can only describe as resentment at my line of questioning. Perhaps I should utilize similar tactics as with Rodar and conduct such interviews at the facilities where they serve alcohol. On the surface, the histories and cultural stories of the micronians have unveiled parallels with some of the memories that are resurfacing within CMD Xander . I am unsure how to approach this new information, are these simply constructs of his mind, or truly rediscovered histories of our people?   For if there were, the abominable crimes committed against our people and the galaxy at large…Perpetrated by the Tirolian race, the Robotech Masters. Sir, I digress. A line of thought for another time, with your permission. These micronions have stories of a time when Giants lived amongst them, stories of various Gods and their children. Such tails appear to have a scholarly bent, perhaps intended to educate the masses? None the less, I present the story of the Phaethon described in Earthen cultures. Phaethon was a name bestowed apon various figures in the cultural stories from the region of earth known as Greece.   One of the most popular legends depicts him as the son of the Oceanic Nymph Clymene and the god Helios who appears to have been associated with the Sun . The story describes an event where Phaethon has his birthright challenged by his friends, who decry that he is the offspring of a god. Seeking confirmation, the young man inquires from his mother Clymene if he truly is a God.   His mother reassures him that the stories are true and bids him ask his father directly should her word not suffice. Thus Phaethon sort council with his father Helios , beseeching him to provide proof that he was the son of a god by linking him to the sun. In an audacious request, Phaethon sought to be permitted to drive the sun for one day, to which Helios agreed. However, shortly after stepping unto the drivers helm, Phaethon lost control.   Unable to reign in the power of these mystical horses, the Sun Chariot careened out of control toward earth. With the Earth about to be burned to a cinder, Zeus the father of the gods was forced to hurl a bolt of energy at Phaethon, striking him dead. Archived within the tomes of the Tactica Grande naval combat data slides, lies references to the Helios engagement manoeuvre.   Elsewhere I encountered documents loosely describing a one man gunship vessel called The Clymene. I do not have authorization to delve deeper my Lord.   Seeking your sanction to continue. Respectfully and loyally, Xavior   ---Message ends---   ---Transmitting---   ---Nil response.
