I'm a veteran (~10 years) D&D 3.5 player looking for a D&D 3.5 campaign to play on Sundays. While I have a preference for 3.5, I'm not disinclined to learn other systems, provided the core materials are provided and time is given to learn the system. I prefer mid- to high-power games, generally in mid levels, but am down to play low or high level games as well. I also have a preference for psionics over slot-based spellcasting, but can play non-casters if psionics are an issue. Story is important to me, and even if I were to play in a hack-and-slash campaign or one with multiple PC murder-hobos, I'd still like for there be some story progression; that said, I'm far more interested in open-world sandbox games than games with set stories. I also prefer playing evil characters, but not villainous evil, per se, but flexible evil. I'm not particularly fond of homebrew classes, feats, or spells (for balance reasons) though homebrew settings are fine, forced character levels (for character development reasons), or railroading by the DM (for player agency reasons). I also have a strong dislike of Pathfinder (for reasons related to my dislike of the product's developmental path) and have no interest whatsoever in playing that system.
