LOOKING FOR GROUP Online or Offline Springfield, MO Tuesday-Thursdays Ive played D&D a lot, but not in months. Im looking for people to play with on my days off. I like to experiment in games to keep things interesting, like crafting, learning magic. I consider them my personal goals while in character. Im looking for 3.5 and Pathfinder because they are to me the best RPG
game systems, though I havent played all systems. Mechanically you can play them in many possible ways. You
can make a martial warrior using any weapons or specialize in one, you
can become a magic user and focus or be flexible. You dont have to
constrain yourself to a narrow Role in the party.
More than just that it has actual tiers of equipment. It sounds simple,
but not having a multiple levels of equipment means you get a weapon,
and never see anything better. You get Leather Armor and look, there is
also Masterwork Leather, and even better armor with +1-5 improvements
and even special abilities you can enchant equipment with. These are
short-term rewards, but also long-term hooks to keep going forward
despite obstacles.
Skills are also important. Theyre both a player test, to see what skills
are relevant, but also how to use skills in different ways, like how
can you make Use Rope outside of climbing one?
