[LFG][5e] New Player Seeking Fun!

Hey-o! I'm Kicky, and I've played a bit of Pathfinder, but after having to miss our last three sessions (people didn't show up) I'm looking to move to D&D 5e! I'm looking for a group with a veteran DM who wouldn't mind stopping to correct mistakes/explain the occasional mechanic I don't fully understand. Preferably a long session that could span a month or two! I'm currently in a spot where I can play from 9am-11pm CDT any day due to me being able to make my work hours whenever. I can do most research online for rule set and already have a character in mind! Just hit me up here with your game info and what you are looking for in your game! edit: Discord would be great.

I would like the opportunity to speak with you.  I have been playing and DMing for over 30 years, as well as teaching new players in game stores, and libraries.  If you are interested, we will be using the Roll20 chat and video, but I would like to get to know you more.  Is there a time that we can get together on the site?
