Curse of Strahd Dynamic Lighting Issue

In our Wednesday CoS Game, recently the dynamic lighting has significantly slowed down the token movement and for some players the ability to even load the game. After turning off the dynamic lighting for the map we are currently on, it becomes noticeably more smooth. This doesnt seem to happen in our other game in Waterdeep Heist either. Also, the fewer tokens there are the better it seems to run. Im not sure what kind of issue this is but we've tried changing browsers and clearing the cache but the only solution seems to be to turn off dynamic lighting. im running the latest version of Firefox on Windows with Javascript enabled
Hi Ben. Are you running dynamic lighting with advanced fog of war? Just so you are aware, there are currently some issues with these features together that are being worked on. See this thread: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7160288/animations-and-afow-offical-feedback-thread Also, you mentioned it doesn't happen in your other game. How many different games do you notice this occurring?
We currently only have the two games running, one on the Curse of Strahd module and one on the Waterdeep Dragon Heist module, and it only seemed to occur on the Curse of Strahd module. I do notice after turning off Advanced fog of war that it helps with token movement
Hello Ben E., Since this issue seems to be related to the issues with AFoW update, we ask that you turn of AFoW as a work around until those issues get resolved. Be sure to follow the Animations and AFoW Offical Feedback Thread for updates on this issue. As such, I will go ahead and close this thread. If you have any further issues, please feel free to start a new thread. Thanks!
