Hello people of Roll 20 I am here to advertise for my upcoming west marches game set in near future earth. This game is going to be taking place in the XCOM 2 timeline and features your characters as soldiers of the XCOM Project, one of the few resistance groups capable of tackling the alien threat that has conquered Earth and had 20 years to fortify their position militarily and politically. I am using Dark Heresy 2e with some Only War and Homebrew to sell the tactical feel of the game. Be aware that this is a work in progress and some things may be subject to change, but all changes will be public knowledge. Features: Weekly Games -> I promise to host at least one session a week that will leverage the many aspects of Dark Heresy in their solutions. It won't all be combat and I think this will provide many opportunities to explore a setting which is near, but not quite, our own world. In addition if you are interested in DMing we can have a cadre of DMs that can provide multiple sessions a week using different styles. Flexible times -> Can't make a certain session? No problem. I'll be hosting games at various times during the week so people from all over can play. When a mission prompt is posted just apply! I'll vet the players, assemble people into a team that has a decent chance of success, and go from there. You'll generally have 5 to 7 days to consider if you can make a session before it goes live. Unique homebrew -> In addition to the usual Dark Heresy and Only War talents and skills I intend to provide unique elite advances with their own talents you can buy to reflect classes from XCOM. You can sneak around like a ranger or hack like a specialist or anything else in the game. You can even use my own classes based off of popular mods. Enemies will be just as powerful if not more so with unique abilities so these classes can easily provide you tools you're not used to having to gain the edge. If you're interested shoot me a PM or apply here. You can look over my initial rule sheet here which describes some core functions and rules. https://docs.google.com/document/d/12S8kW1_o3lVRIDWAlJbhehSx7_Jf0d03Q5uAJlJufTc/edit?usp=sharing
