Welcome to those who had their curiosities piqued. My name is Lux and I am the current dungeon master of this homebrew campaign. Now, before you reply or pm me that you wish to join let me set the foundations of what is going on, how I dm my games, and what/who I am looking for. 1. This campaign, while in a homebrew world, pulls heavily from official 5e material. If you have an idea that is from the official publications it sounds like a good idea to me. However, I do allow some homebrew material to be used as long as we get a chance to discuss it. There are a few books/sources I will already allow (Xanathar's Lost Notes, Grimlore's Grimoire, UA: Artificer) but if you have a idea, lets talk it out. 2. If you join, be aware there are already 4 other players and this is our session 8. Also, you will be joining at level 4. 3. I dm my games in a very 50/50 way. I love role-play and I love combat so I try to balance them a much as I can. As for experience, I use a milestone system as it feels more organic to the story arc and the choices the players make. I also do not allow any evil aligned characters. I also want to extend my arms open to all types of players regardless of identity, sexual orientation, race, etc. If you have specific questions about how I rule something, pm me. 4. Finally, while I am a total advocate of helping new players find games and getting them started in DnD, I will only be taking players with some form of experience (i.e. knowing the basics without explanation). For this situation, creating a lvl 4 character for a in progress campaign, I do not feel like bringing in a completely new player would make the most sense. That is pretty much the bullwark of information I feel like I should share.
