Pinning characters to page/map - Global and local characters

Hey, Since i m making campaign for friends, i realized that making X enemies will spam character sheet. Since i'm using them in one situation, then they usualy die, it would be nice if they would be usualy pined to map, and appear in character sheet only when GM is at this page. In my vision, there would be also option to mark some characters (used in more than one map eg, PC or important NPCs) as Global which appears in every map on the top. Something like below Global Characters : - Roland Krugen - Dirk Bauman - Eliasz Kraven Local Characters : - Goblin 1 - Goblin 2 - Goblin 3 Ofc. i can just put 1,2,3,4 at beggining to sort them but still my char sheet still will be spammed :S EDIT : I just realized it would be nice if it would apply also to handouts Regards Chris
+1. More organization is always good.
+1. I like the idea, would make it easier to handle characters and NPCs.
That would be a nice thing to help with organization - have the characters/information pinned to the map they're related to... but what if you have random encounters where you could roll an event to suddenly throw in 10 goblins? I would not want to have to go to that last map to grab the goblin and not everyone may want to organize that way - which is why people have been suggesting the ability to make collapsible folders that you can name how you want to organize things. This actually made me think it was something else... like tying the tokens to the Character sheets.and a Global character remains the same no matter where the token is attached. if HP is down, it's down on every token in every map... (as it is now) Then a Local character would be like a monster or an NPC stat template. This would be a character where tokens tied to the sheet can be quick set-up with all the stats tied to the sheet to start, but does not globally affect all tokens using that sheet as a basis. I know you could just destablish/enstablish the link but it would be nice to say this is a unique Named character or this is a generic character.... one or many
Tanice, you can always make a global example, called GOBLIN then just copy it at the map you wish. Also if ppl wouldn t like it that way they can make all characters global, and nothing will change for them. ofc colapsing folders are good too, but i'd rather my way. cheers Chris
i like this idea...but I like this one more: <a href="http://app.roll20.net/forum/post/75755/creature-storage#post-75773" rel="nofollow">http://app.roll20.net/forum/post/75755/creature-storage#post-75773</a>
