Hello! I'm a fairly experienced DM but have almost no time as a player under my belt. Looking for a replacement game for my Wednesdays. As a player, I provide strange but fun characters, and I try to make sure that less experienced/comfortable players have a proper media through which they can play their characters. I've had several months to get a good feeling for the characters that I've made in preparation for a game, and I'd like to get a good feeling for the setting and other players before I decide to commit any of my characters to paper. I'm looking for a game starting at fifth level or higher that focuses slightly more on RP than combat that offers an engaging story with clear direction/guidance to avoid awkward subplots that lead to dead-ends. I'm looking for players who enjoy playing their characters and know how to go about getting what they want done, and a DM who knows how to control their players, offer guidance and advice, and knows how to incorporate feedback.
