I represent a group of 4 players looking for a Pathfinder DM for a long term biweekly game! We'd be willing to pay the right DM, either on a regular basis or via supporting with tips and materials/costs. About us: - We're a group of adult real-life friends who live far apart. We play cooperatively. - We have played Pathfinder together for a dozen sessions or so, pretty familiar with the low-level rules and using Roll20. - We provide backstories for our characters that will include open questions and hooks for the DM to tie into the main story or each other. - We don't mind spending a session without rolling initiative once in a while. - We're not perfect, but we try to act in character and not metagame. We get into our characters, sometimes doing voices, commissioning art, planning between sessions, and such. - We do goof around, but usually nothing too out of control. About the game: - We want to play a Pathfinder AP in Roll20 biweekly every 2nd and 4th Weds 8:15PM-11PM EST. - We'll work with you to pick the AP, but we've narrowed it down to a list of about 8. - Ideally the game would be a healthy mix of RP/combat/main story with room for character backstory sidequests, or if you just come up with a cool idea that's not in the AP. - Previously we've played with minor houserules and bounds like Paizo materials only, no evil characters, no firearms, etc. About you: - You're excited to DM a Pathfinder AP for a group of fun-loving friends! - You set up Roll20 to get the most out of sessions with NPCs, maps, monsters, and music. - You'd enjoy the opportunity to weave character stories into each other and the main story for a unique experience. - You think pacing and fun are the most important rules. You have some flexibility for creative solutions and don't enslave the game to the rules in a way that deters fun. - You like tailoring the AP's monsters/NPCs/minor plot points a little to get the most of the campaign. Next steps: - We'd work with you to do trial sessions before we dive into the campaign. Maybe a module or PFS scenario? - If you're interested, post here or DM me! (double-meaning!)
