Break up the Map layer into Background Map and Background Objects!

Hi, I like to make intricate maps for my role-playing group. However its frustrating at the moment because when setting up a map with objects/set pieces as a backdrop for my group, I might have to adjust an object or fix a set piece. Now being those objects are on the map layer I run the risk of accidentally moving the map around and throwing everything off. Now I suggest that we make a map background that's protected by itself, and then have a secondary objects background layer. So you can move and adjust set pieces easily without running the risk of moving the map around.  Please consider this suggestion
