Hello everyone. My campaign, Kingslayers, is starting all over, so we're looking for a few new players to check out this massively homebrewed system where you are basically playing demigod super heroes, called Barons, in a wartorn world. Here's a bit more information about what a Baron is: You're the demigod of a certain element/idea/thing, and you have special abilities based on that. Choose an element or thing (like poison, justice, snow, thievery, outcasts, etc.) and come up with ideas for both passive and active abilities, as well as an ultimate ability, based on your chosen Domain. Just ideas, Burning will handle the in-game mechanics. It is possible for more than one baron to have the same domain, but they'd be splitting the power, which people don't like to do, so there will always be a 10% chance at creation to see if that Domain already exists. This is only rolled after your character is made and you wont know either way until if or when someone shows up with the same Domain to deal with you. As you level up, you gain more followers, which in turn gives you more worship points, which you can use to power up your character in many ways, like gaining a random innate ability, increasing a certain stat, gaining proficiencies, etc… Also, you'll have an "office item", which is basically the source of your power. Keep this safe/hidden, because if someone finds it, they can steal your powers and followers.
