Hello! I am looking for either an existing Starfinder game, or a DM who is interested in starting one. In particular, I am looking for a long-term game where one goes through many different missions and campaigns, in a 'continuing adventures' sort of way, progressing through levels, but also allowing a roster change up when and where needed. I am new to the system, but familiar with RPGs in general and I have a knack for picking up and memorizing new systems easily. I have about twenty years of experience in free-form role-playing and moderate experience in tabletop RPGs, but as I said, I catch on very quickly, and often know the game better than people who have played. I am very strongly focused on character development and interactions, and characterization in general. I like to follow the personal rule of playing my character to their character sheet, and writing the character sheet to suit the character. I will min-max within those parameters, but the role-play is more important to me than the numbers, when it comes down to it. I am willing to co-DM if one is desired, in that I am good at coming up with characters and story elements, and tying up loose ends in stories. I am no good at actually running a game, but I can be quite helpful in setup. I am good at avoiding meta-gaming (as in, I can avoid using my personal knowledge for the advantage of my character), and knowing the story does not ruin the fun for me, as it is more important for me to play my character within those situations. I gain my enjoyment from how my character acts and reacts to situations, and the other characters. Game specifics are negotiable, but I am only reliably available after 7:30 PM Eastern, and some days may have interruptions up until around 8:00 PM. I am busy on Tuesdays currently, but otherwise available any day of the week at the previously stated times. Any other time I might be available, but cannot guarantee I won't get interrupted, or possibly pulled away entirely. I have friends, some of whom might be interested in joining, one of whom for certain would be. Most would be new to the system. I am, however, open to having other players. I am LGBT+ friendly (and prefer a group who also is, even though I myself am not LGBT+).. I tend to play female characters. I refuse to make an attempt to use a feminine voice, beyond slightly raising the pitch of my voice to make it clear when I speak in character. If said character doesn't have a lower tone, such as my half-orc 'archetype' Brigga. I have many archetypes spanning many character roles and styles. Please feel free to respond here, or to message me privately if you want to avoid attracting a crowd.
