Roll20 Pathfinder Society: #03-18, The God's Market Gamble (Tier 1-5), Wednesday 04/09/14 @ 9:30PM EST

Hello again! Looking to run another Pathfinder Society scenario this coming Wednesday @ 9:30PM EST. The Tier for this scenario is 1-5, meaning you must either have a Society legal character in that level range or play a pre-generated character (which can be provided). We will be using Google Hangouts for the voice-chat portion of the session, though individuals are welcome to just 'type-it-out' in the chat window if they prefer. Roll20 Pathfinder Society sessions are open to new and experienced players both! I encourage those new to Society play to check out the PFS website for more information, where you can find rules for playing in a Society game and much more. Six player slots are available ( absolute maximum of 7 ), with spots given to back-up players if no-shows occur 15 minutes after start time. Let me know if there are any questions or concerns! I'm new to Roll20, and Pathfinder, but I'd love to give it a go. I've only done the Confirmation mission in Pathfinder, and have a Level 1 Ranger (that I hope I made right!)

I see there are a lot of new people this week. If anyone has questions about roll20 or PFS, I'm willing to assist in answering them.

Just a single question, as I understand the basics. Is it a single XP per scenario? As in, I only get 1 xp by playing though the entire thing from start to finish? Or is there a way to gain XP a little quicker than that somehow? Having to play through 3 scenarios in entirety just to level would take an exceptionally long time, and be especially frustrating at the lower levels when you can barely survive more than 2 arrows.

Well, I think i misunderstood something VERY key in wishing for faster XP gain. I didnt realize a scenario was about 4 hours long. I was thinking more of an adventure of multiple sessions was a single scenario. Id still love to play in this if possible and room appears.

You'll be fine Michael you posted before we had all the spots filled so just post what character you plan on using now and it will be all good. This is why Sean probably fills out his own list is because for people that have questions and express interest they can be answered and still have a chance to play. :D Sean is law here not when you post yourself in list peoples :P

I forgot , this is effectively a single 4 hour block. Not a regularly weekly adventure. I can make it for this. Cant make it the same time EVERY week. If it was about 2 hours later, or on Thursday, I could. Ill likely be rolling up a Druid or Bard.

I would prefer a little more than "maybe"' to go off of. I would have to make a trip home , which is a half hour drive from where I will be at the time, and making that drive just to find out that I dont have a spot still, would be a large waste. There is also another person in line in front of me still. So I would need to know an hour prior to start whether I would be involved or not. A private message on here would be enough, as I can check my phone for those.

I will be playing my level 2 Arcanist tonight. It seems we dont have any arcane casters, so I'll fill that niche.

I decided on a ranger <Ranged Type>.
