All graphics are showing up darkened. Animation glitch too.

I have one game with some weird graphics issues, (My three other games work fine.) First, a week or two ago I noticed that graphics I drag onto a map are darkened. They look like they have about a 50% black transparency over them. They are dark no matter what layer they are on. This has happened with every new map I created in that game since then. My older maps in that game were fine…until a day or two ago when they too became “infected.” Sometimes when I move or add a graphic there will be a brief flash of the correct appearance before it darkens, which makes me wonder if the problem is in one of the “swap” or “filter” events near the end of the console log. NONE of my lighting-effect features are enabled (FoW, etc.) The graphics are darkened in both DM and player windows. I used Transmogrifier to port an infected map into another game and it was still dark. (Hopefully I didn’t infect that game.) I also copied the whole game, and the copy is also dark. This particular game has another possibly related graphics glitch: animations don’t work normally. I have to drag them onto the screen with animations enabled, then click disable, then re-enable. Again, all other games are fine. SETUP: SYSTEM: The problem persists in MacOS 10.14.5 with Firefox 68.0.1 (64 bit) and Chrome 76.0.3809.87 (64 bit), and in Windows 7 (hey, I need it for some old games) with Chrome 75.0.3770.142 (32 bit). ADD-ONS: My only add-on was “https everywhere” in MacOS Firefox, and the problem persists even when I turn that off. CACHE: Flushed repeatedly. GAME: Ironically, the game is named “Dark Age” (and now “Dark Age Copy” too). (Maybe I should rename it "Normal Lighting Age!")

It sounds like you have a default tint applied to tokens in your campaign settings page. I've read this before, but IIRC, it's difficult to undo the default setting, and might require dev intervention. It's possible that that bug has been squashed, though. In the meantime, you should be able to fix any existing graphics by removing the tint manually.
That was it! I don't recall ever changing that default, or ever even thinking about giving anything a tint, but it was probably a stray click at some point. Chalk up another one for user error I guess. Thanks!

Update to the dark graphics problem: it turns out maybe it wasn't user error after all. My Game Settings for that game keep reverting back to the black tint. I change it to transparent, click "Save Changes," and when I come back it's black again.
Update II: the two problems are in fact related. The animations don't work because of the default tint. As soon as I manually remove the tint, the animation works fine.

I suspected it might be difficult to remove. I thought that bug had been destroyed, but IIRC, the token aura is defined as RGBa in one spot and RGB in the other, so changing the default to transparent (the "a" for alpha channel) doesn't affect the in-game results, even after an update. This might require dev attention to fix, and it's a bug that should be resolved.
Hi&nbsp;Aardwulf -&nbsp; Thank you for the detailed report and we apologize for the inconvenience regarding this issue. I was able to get the default "Tint" setting on your game to be manually removed/updated. As a result, can you go into the game and confirm if the tint has been removed and if the original problem(s) are still occurring now? However, be advised, we are still investigating the "Tint" setting bug you experienced, so we recommend not adjusting that default setting until we have resolved it.
