Player looking for Group

Hey guys, Im currently running a long term campaign for 3.5e for a group of 5 once weekly, but am also very interested in getting involved as a player. A little about me: Ive been TTRPG'ing for about 14 years, i live in +8 GMT and work during the middle of the day my time. This means that typical afternoon/evening games run in US timezones, as well as Australian games are suitable fits for my schedule. I would be interested in playing in just about any setting, and am familiar with many systems. I tend to avoid powerplaying, and design in-depth, interesting and sometimes unusual characters. A favourite of mine was a Half-Orc wizard who could only cast minor spells, and because of that was always grumpy and resorted to physical violence whenever he was mentally overwhelmed :P If anyone is getting a game off the ground and is looking for players, flick a message my way
I wouldn't mind getting into a game, always looking for more fun
I am looking to DM a 3.5 DnD game, but it's hjeavily lacking players at the moment; my current count is 2 for sure interested. When I have a player base (3-4) I will have a time. About me: I live in Alaska and will try to get the game around when the players can play, or else what's the point. This will be my first real DM, other than that I tend to create some outworldly characters, my last one was a introductory campaign so I was just a human paladin (DM's ruling), but I have built a large anthropomorphic bear race which I'm hoping to use next time I play. My only rules so far that I have discerned for DMing is that new players use the basics, whatever comes in the book is open for use. I find that it cuts down on some complication things and helps keep it fairly straight forward for new players. I make no promises to the campaign of it's greatness or lack thereof, but I can promise that I will give it my best shot and try to keep it as true to the rules as I can.
