For the last seven weeks I've run a text based D&D 5e game on Saturdays at 8:30 PM CDT. The party is a tier two group of characters, and I'm hoping to introduce a guest player in for a couple of sessions (maybe 3 or 4-ish?). The game's mostly focused on combat based encounters, but I'm working on sprinkling more social encounters in. The party is working on defeating a lich named Kalaral the Vile who is trying to summon an undead lord named Orcus. They've just found his magical fortress that's in another dimension. I've recently watched Matthew Colville's Collaborating With A Player Video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-nfsi6B8d4&t=248s ) and Why Do We Play D&D? video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ama2wMxq84o&t=44s ) have been inspired by them. By watching these videos you can probably get the idea I'm going after, but if you'd like, I can give you more details. If you like text based dnd games, and also like playing secretive characters that aren't the most heroic, this might be the game for you! If you have any questions, or would like to join, please either PM me or reply below! I'm excited to meet you!
