Hello! I'm a player and GM who loves collaborative storytelling and character development in a narrative-focused campaign, so I'm going to be starting a new one! The Future My goal is to eventually put together a friendly, cooperative, and enthusiastic group of imaginative roleplayers in order to start a brand new, story-focused campaign in an original custom setting. I already have lots of ideas in mind for exactly what that setting will be, but some details will be discussed and decided with the group as a whole once it's formed. Player involvement and contribution are very important to me in these games, because it's more fun to be part of something that  all  of us created together rather than the GM just throwing a bunch of stuff at the players. The Present In order to gather this lovely group of creative and talented roleplayers, I'm running a roleplay-focused one-shot game called "Moving Along." It's a shortish (3-4 hours) standalone fantasy-themed game on Roll20 that's centered around exploring, socializing, a little puzzle-solving, and a lot more roleplaying rather than combat. I've run this one-shot for two other groups in the past two weeks, and it provides a great opportunity for participants to get to know each other a bit and figure out if their individual styles and personalities are a good fit for being in a group together in a quick, low-pressure game before moving on to a more "serious," long-term campaign. Plus, it should be fun! Ok, so when is this one-shot taking place? I'm in Central Time [UTC−6:00] and I'd love to have the next session sometime tomorrow (Thursday) evening if possible, hopefully starting no later than 7 PM CDT so things don't go too late for people. The exact time can be adjusted based on player availability, though. What do I need for the one-shot? You just need an account on Roll20 and an original and interesting character  idea  (not a character sheet, but rather your character's simple background, personality, a few likes and dislikes, general strengths and weaknesses, etc.). You also need an image to use as your character's token, though I can provide one too if needed. Most importantly, just  bring your creativity and imagination! So yeah, if you love to roleplay and you're interested in participating in this one-shot or if you have any questions at all, please send me a message with a little about yourself, what kind of roleplayer you are, why you'd like to join, and when you'd be available for the game and I'll get back to you when I can!
