This is a paid gaming experience, if you are not interested in that type of game this is not the castle you are looking for. Please leave with respect and dignity for your fellow RPG devotees. # Introduction Well met fellow tabletop enthusiasts! My name is Gina but you may call me by my handle, Armonia, if you prefer. I’d like to welcome you to the start of a grand adventure that I am pursuing. I’m looking to start two weekday morning games. I am a night shifter so I have free time in the early morning Eastern time zone so all my European friends come join me! # GM Experience and payments: I am an experienced DM of 10 years and while I do love to host games, the amount of time that goes into them can be considered absurd. I have played 2nd edition to 5e, though I prefer pathfinder currently. I will be charging 10$ minimum per session via PayPal. The price will vary depending on group decision of game length, group size and if the game is module or homebrew. Looking to make the games on Mondays starting at 7:30am or 8am that will last 3 - 4 hours long. I will be paid a week in advance for the next game session via paypal and the group will decide on how many hours are to be played. If you find that you cannot make a week then that money will be held for whatever following week you can make it. Please know that if you fail to give 24 hour notice of missing a game twice, you will receive a refund and be removed from the game for another player to join. If you did not find the session to your liking then you will be refunded and asked to leave the game setting to allow others who might enjoy it more to join. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/173383/insert-game-name-here-lol # GM Style: I tend to play a challenging game. I encourage clever solutions to any problems, and you may well run into encounters you are not likely to fight through. Sometimes it could be smarter to talk or bluff you way out of something than to fight, or to simple run away and avoid the area. If you encounter something beyond your potential skill level don’t expect to kill it just because you think I will go easy. Quote > “If it looks too powerful to kill it probably is” I am personally not one who enjoys a power gamer. Someone who scourers the most obscure books to find that one tiny ad vantage for a stat. The games I run focus more on the aspect of Role-playing then Roll-playing. Please bear in mind that optimizing a character to be great is a good thing, but I frequently grant bonus experience for a character who can show me who they really are in the game. # What if I'm joining late? You will join with a level and equipment value matching a random character from the party (could be lower than others if effects like raise dead are used, otherwise will be about the same with everyone). When creating your character always consult with the dungeon master on what content is available for the campaign out are in. # Additional Notes • Starting Level: 1st Level unless stated other wise • Level Progression: Milestone for 5e medium for pathfinder • Class Restrictions: None • Alignment restriction: No Evil • Campaign planned level Progression: Level 15+ • Race Restrictions: Core books are guaranteed, float ideas from other books by me first • Traits (Pathfinder): As usual (two traits, core books allowed, plus the AP player's guide traits (highly recommended - specific to this adventure, bonuses possible, etc) • Starting Stats: Rolled in roll20.net, 4d6 minus the lowest die or Point buy system (20 for pathfinder). If you choose to roll you cannot go back to point buy. • Character Wealth: Standard rules • Background: All players are required to provide a brief story of around 100-250 words and relate to the world as close as possible. A good background may grant a bonus trait of the GM's choosing. • Template Restrictions (Pathfinder): Core rules allowed within level limits (ie, if someone joins at party level 3, a level+2 template is allowable) • Missed sessions (Pathfinder): Experience is awarded each encounter, so missed encounters translate to missed experience (and bonus experience for those that participate). Bear in mind this may also make some encounters more difficult. Division of the loot is up to those players participating to decide (meaning I will not get involved). • Treasure: I award treasure each encounter. Players are responsible for tracking their treasure (if nobody writes it down, then it was left behind). • Resurrection Spells: Core rules apply • Downtime: This game will continue on its normal progression; however, there will be times when characters level up and other non-essential portions that gives players a chance to craft items or go through training to level up. Average downtime depends on players motives, and there is a minimum of 2 weeks for each level obtained. This is in game time not real life time so it may actually take less then an hour to pass time unless there situations that players need to address in game, e.g. crafting, leveling, planning etc. • Macro Commands: Please use macros to help increase efficiency of the game. You can find additional information on macros here. Easy rolls are made by adding brackets [[1d20+number]] Shortens most large numbers taking up chat area. • Token Labels: Tokens are Green= HP / Blue = AC / Red = Elevation from ground This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of 10$ minimum via PayPal weekly. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
