changing the character using macros

so I am working on making quick macros for a game im in and i run into one snag that isn't a big deal but kinda bothers me. basically this is what im working with &{template:default} {{type=?{skill|pick a skill}}}{{Result  =  0} + ?{Modifier|0} }} we are mainly using roll20 for maps and to keep track of past rolls and this is what I'm using for our skill checks, however id like it to roll with the character in the top left is the same as the character im using the macro from (each character has this macro with the ability name being "*characters name" roll" ) is there a macro command to change who is "rolling" at the time or is it only through the drop-down box in the bottom right-hand corner? [change - Merrick (GM) to another character]

If your token's are linked to specific character sheets , you can include @{selected|character_name} in your macro to automatically display the name of the character rolling the skill check. &{template:default}{{name=@{selected|character_name}'s Skill roll }} {{type=?{skill|pick a skill}}}{{Result  =  0} + ?{Modifier|0} }} if they are not linked, you could use a query to enter a name. &{template:default}{{name=?{Who is rolling?}'s Skill roll }} {{type=?{skill|pick a skill}}}{{Result  =  0} + ?{Modifier|0} }}
