[LFG][D&D 5E] Brand New Player Looking for Group!

Hello guys! I'm brand new to role-playing and tabletop games but have always been interested in them. I remember going to the book stores by my house and reading through DnD guide books and creating characters. Unfortunately, I was never able to play as a kid and now that I'm in my 20's I finally decided that I wanted to find some people to play with. I'm a quick learner and eager to get started. I'm willing to play with new or experienced player/DM's as long as people are okay with someone new learning the ropes. I'm a little awkward when I first meet people but after I get comfortable it's not an issue! I'm usually free everyday 12:00pm-5:00pm PST with a flexible work schedule where I can also get several nights off a week.  Thanks for reading and I hope to hear from you guys! :)

I'll use this as a bump and to add some more information I may have missed. I'm looking for 18+ games and am not completely ignorant about D&D or how to play as I have watched a good amount of streams/videos of people playing. I would consider myself as someone who cares more about immersion and am more interested in playing with an emphasis on decision making, creative thinking, and dialogue over combat.

Hi Apoxa I am in a very similar situation as you...I think. I am fairly new to D&amp;D5E and brand new to roll20. Here are my thoughts: Both being new, it could be nice to have a fellow newbie to learn alongside and bounce ideas off. You said you are quite flexible, would you want to play once a week or are you open to say 2/3 sessions? What I am thinking is we could sort of join in our search for a group, so the two of us then look for an experienced or other new players (some post here already) I am looking to start at level 1, a dedicated group looking to longterm playing, fun/friendly group, ideally 2-3 sessions/week (some sessions can be shorter), around 4 player + DM PM if any of this sounds interesting.
