Recycling Maps: For the good of the environment and sanity of the GM/DM

First things first: I love making maps. I have definitely spend way too much time and money on creating maps from scratch and buying token/map packs to provide my players with interesting environments and detailed areas to play with. It is one of the things I enjoy the most when playing via Roll20 and it is the one thing that will definitely get me the most ideas for story continuation. For some games I usually create a set of more generic maps to play on. For the usual 'roadside' combat or that one tavern that simply just always works. The issue I walk into is the fact that I have to recreate what I have once already build before in a new game. Now while I do enjoy making them it feels like it is some time spend I could have saved building different things. So I was thinking, looking at the fact that we have the ability to import/export character sheets in between different games, would it be possible to also do this with specifics maps you created yourself? Offer the ability to, once you've created such a page/map, to archive/export it and use it in another game? Because if it is possible I would definitely see this is as a wonderful feature to help the GM/DM to create maps (generic) ones and re-use them in other games. Because if one map is truly cool and amazing for one group it may as well be amazing and cool for another. What do you think?
As a Pro subscriber, you have access to the Transmogrifier (see the wiki: https://wiki.roll20.net/Transmogrifier), which will allow you to copy whole map pages between games. Note that too many maps in a game can contribute to lag, though. Personally, I use an Atlas game to store maps, and Transmogrify them out of there to other games as needed.

That’s exactly what I do as well!

I completely missed this option and thus I will retract my suggestion as it is already there and functional. Many thanks for helping me out. This is going to save me so much time. :D

Archiving things is purely cosmetic and does not reduce load and lag.
Honestly, that's ridiculous :/ their is no way it should be like that unless they are trying to incentivizes Pro accounts. To me that feels more like a bug or fault with the system. It really should have archived things not effect lag time. At the very least have a way to "save" maps and things out of the main games without a strange workaround for Pro accounts that just force you to upgrade to fix their system lag. I hope their system updates they are doing will fix this.
