Invite to join campaign sent to player, who subsequently changed his profile and now can not join the campaign

Order of steps: GM sends an invite to a player. Player clicks on link in email from Roll20 to join the campaign. Player prompted to create a Roll20 account. Player account created. Player logs into Roll20 and realizes he misspelled his first name. Player corrects misspelling and also updates screen name (For both fields, he alters the value from 'Janes' to 'James'). Player saves all changes. Player clicks on link in auto-generated email from Roll20 to join campaign (Step 2 from above). The page simply says 'unauthorized'. GM checks on status of invited players and does not see this player listed. GM submits another invite to player which auto-generates another email to the player. Player clicks on link in new email to join campaign and the loaded page simply says 'unauthorized'. It seems changing the player first name and screen name from 'Janes' to 'James' has created an issue? OS: Win7 Browser: Chrome 34.0.1847.16 Javascript: enabled Cookies: enabled Flash: 13.0.-1

I gave the player the link to join the campaign directly, and this worked. However, the player name and avatar name in the campaign are still using the misspelled word of 'Janes', despite the player updating his account so both his first name and display name say 'James'.
