ONE SHOT TIME! I am running a one-shot Wednesday, April 23rd! So if you want to get in one some Dungeon World goodness, this is your chance. Please note: Time: 5-8pm Pacific Time (GMT -7). We play for three hours. Need: A webcam, headphones/microphone (This is essential, you must have these!) Playing on: Google Hangouts and Roll20 Here are the Dungeon World rules: http://www.dungeonworldsrd.com/ You do not need to read those above! All you need is a willingness to learn and IMAGINATION! Roleplay gaming is a collaborative storytelling tool! It is fun to create stories and play to see what happens! I am always helping women get involved in gaming so feel free to join, fellow females! Transgender women are always welcome at my table. I will pick people based on those who put a little effort into their response. Perhaps tells me a character idea you have? THE TABLE IS FULL! Thanks everyone!
I'd really, really love to give DW a try, but I already have a session planned this week, and for family reasons I can hardly take two nights to play. I'll see if it's possible, and keep you posted if so!
I'd love to have a go at Dungeon World. Effort, how nerve-racking. I suppose a draft Character Idea for a Fighter would be simple enough. Hopefully this isn't too cheesy :P Kalin Bluewind, a young man weathered and scarred far beyond his years. Chilling grey eyes and tangled black hair gives off an unapproachable presence. He wields a blade that shares the name Bluewind , though only he knows which is named after the other. With steel colored an unnatural cobalt it slices with great speed despite its immense size. He fights not for honor or glory, nor wealth or splendor. He fights only because he knows not any other means through this unforgiving world.

I would love to join a Dungeon World game! I've heard such good things about it and other games of the Apocalypse system but no chance to play until now :) I would probably go rangerish just off the top of my head as Im an animal guy.
Here is Kalnor Bloodclaw fresh from his daily earnings at the gambling house, "Hmmm.....I think a nice mug of mead before bed sounds divine." He then heads down the the street to local inn which doubles as the towns largest tavern, "The Horse and Whip, they usually have the best mead...although I better be ready, they tend to get rough in here at times." With this he shifts his coin purse close to the front and steps in and saunters up to the bar and begins to order his mead when a man walks up behind him and grabs by the back of the neck and yells, "I know ya' cheated Kal, and I want my money back." And he spins Kalnor around ready to take his money back by any means necessary and clouts Kalnor on the ear knocking him slightly off the stool but Kalnor had been ready and blocked the blow without Zachariah realizing it and came back with an uppercut that just barely tipped his nose as Kalnor stood. Zachariah steps back and readys himself by lifting his hands and gestures with hem saying, "Cimon," Kalnor stepped forward and went to swing but something catches his foot and he begins to fall running into and driving back Zachariah, both of them bowling over the nearest table along with a couple of people that had been watching the commotion, this of course began a fight between the men who had their table crushed, Kalnor, and Zachariah; this then spilled over more and more until you had so many patrons involved, along with the barkeep and barmaids, that you could not see through the crowd. During all this, off in the corner sat Nolan Ravenshift, who had followed Kalnor from the gambling house and knew exactly how much he had, he also knew that Kalnor had cheated Zachariah using loaded dice, and once the commotion seemed to reach its peak, he then snuck out of the corner and began to systematically creep through the crowd towards Kalnor, picking up little rocks and such and bits of broken mugs along the way figuring this mixed with the bag of pebbles from outside would jingle right and weigh about the same as Kalnors coin purse cause you see, Nolan is a traveling thief, knows his way around a sword , a dagger, and a coin purse alike. Once outside with his fresh bounty, Nolan then makes his way out of town to get back to camp, "Can't stay 'ere much longer, now can we." To be continued......... BTW: My character is the thief
I'd like to get in on this, let me draw up something basic later today.

Hit me up pm or email: Teddy, give me a quick character concept and for privacy's sake I suggest you remove your email. If you give me a quick concept as the others have done I will welcome you to the table and ask you to PM me your email.
Please note to all: I have no problem with there being a two or more of the same class at the table. There can be more than one thief or more than one fighter, for example. So don't let that stop you from proposing the type of character you wish to play.
Thanks and will plan something when I get home from work.
I tried to avoid a life story/background and just hit the highlights or things of note :) Larkin's words of wisdom "Don't poke the sleeping bear" Larkin is a rough, solemn individual. He is a nice fellow, just don't mess with his wolf or mistreat animals. He is very adamant in that intelligence being shouldn't mistreat or abuse animals under they care. Larkin has pummeled a town guard or two who were killing dogs for sport. He tries his best at any physical activity which this gives other a false impression about him of being brawn over brains. He lets them think he is slow witted or odd as they tend to under estimate him. A definitely a small joy to show them. Larkin ventures into town sometimes but tries not to get involved there, too many people and noises are awful. He would much rather in in the woods with close friends or his wolf, Rafe.

Ive never played this but ill give it a try if i am allowed! INTRODUCTION Devidikus is a brute in his own nature, he knows only of fighting and killing. He, at a young age was orphaned, for a dragon destroyed his home town and his parents. Now he travels town to town earning, eating, fighting and pleasuring. He still searches for that dragon, asking anyone if they have seen a dragon that is blind in one eyes with a giant scratch over it. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ajc7veEPgtwfdEJCSjJsVTFaZDZUaFRkaUlfaFIwLUE&usp=sharing

A quick write-up: The fourth son born to a noble family, Marion resigned himself to a life of adventure from an early age. With no stake on the family lands (unless his older brothers died) it was clergy, warfare, or dealing with court nobles for the rest of his life. Naturally, when a crusade to the desert seas of Tangria was announced, Marion signed on in a heartbeat. He had seen gore, he knew how to ride and use a sword and lance, he was prepared for battle. Or so he thought. He fought well. But the fight didn't end. The centaur khans and their lizardmen slaves would not end. After losing friends and brothers, Marion lost faith in the chivalric ideas that had once driven him to fight. He found something else. He found god on the wastes. Or rather, a god. Or a teaching, really. A philosophy. A way of life. Influenced by a since departed warrior-priest and teacher, Marion renounced his family name and pledged himself to the cause of Rael, two-faced god of war and mercy. The man who came back from Tangria never came home. He found a new one in his faith, and carried it with him to light the way into dark reaches of the world. Marion, son of Rael. Paladin.
