My Library issues

Reviewing the forums I have found multiple posts with only 1 or 2 replies on the same issue. Because they don't have your required 10 replies you do nothing about it. The issue is being able to pull a file folder from the users computer to their library. Trying to upload each image/token/map individually when you have several hundred is a pain. Also, you are not allowed to upload to a particular folder in your library. Yes, you can drag and drop each separately into a folder but the item is still listed in your recently uploaded file. There is no way to highlight multiple items to be uploaded with the normal windows file selection options (shift, tab, ctrl etc). If you transfer these to a folder for better organization, the item still stays in your recently uploaded folder. If deleted from the recently uploaded folder it is also deleted from the folder to which you transferred it. This makes for very poor management of your uploaded items. dragging it to a folder should move it to that folder and remove it from your recently uploaded. The file limit can still be managed by tracking the uploaded files in your library. The Blue Wiz / Pro subscriber

Hi Blue Wiz, I understand what you are looking for from the system, and understand the frustration, but it just isn't built that way. I have some workarounds that might help, and some disambiguation. 1. The suggestions forum "10 vote" rule is only about thread closure, returning votes to people who have voted on something that seems unlikely to gain any traction. Even a thousand votes isn't a guarantee that Roll20 will adopt the suggestion, though. The forum is not meant to represent a mandate, only a gauge of customer interest. If there are reasons not to implement a suggestion (technical, economic, legal), it won't be. 2. You can drag and drop to the VTT do multiple uploads. Just delete the pile from the tabletop as you go. You don't need to use the upload button. By all rights, yes the upload button should allow multiple selections, I don't know why it doesn't, when the ability to do mass uploads is demonstrably possible. 3. The Recently Uploaded folder is probably poorly named. It's actually the folder where all of your images really reside. You can't take things out of it to put into other folders. Think of it as really the only folder, and all the other folders you are seeing are actually tags. (Because that's really what is happening.) Deleting an object from a folder is just "removing a tag". The object in the folder is only a reference to the actual file, which is in Recent Uploads. In short, the Art Library is not a traditional folder structure, though it looks like one. This is not necessarily wrong, just different. It can cause frustration if it's not what you are expecting. There are advantages, for instance—you can have an Orc token filed under "Orcs", "Monsters", "Bad Guys" and "Dungeon Dwellers", and only need to use the storage space for one image.
