Ingund Ingund spends some time training, resting, and adjusting to her new vision. She makes progress, and learns new ways to improve her fighting techniques. Teresa Teresa spends time looking for old records of Morrendeep, but she doesn't manage to find anything of much importance. She does however find a few notes scattered throughout the the library in books she thinks should have information on Morrendeep. The text seems to move, shift, and have something prophetic to its nature. When she shows it to others they all seem to see a different word in it, and some don't see anything at all. For Teresa it reads D͘҉i̴̧͘͘͘e̷̕͟ś҉҉a̛̕. Hunter Hunter spends time learning the ways of The Gloom Stalkers, and developing his skills to the next level. Prudence Prudence spends some time doing some research, and discovers that she performed a version of the Ceremony spell. Though she isn't sure rather she could do so again. Unfortunately Liri cannot be found to answer her questions. Prudence discovers that Abbatuor was once home to nothing more than bandits, and thieves. Some generations ago a bandit lord by the name of Brosuine Saxton was given the choice to keep his lands and head by submitting to the house of Roesone, or to lose them both by declining. He wisely accepted. The land is sparsely populated with no human settlements more than 10 miles away from The Spider River. With that said recently Lord Saxton has been ordering his men to "trim" the forest, and there now exists a large gap within the 5 miles near the river (and the forest has been significantly thinned for another 5 miles after that). The forest doesn't resume until you get to Illien across the water. Many bandits also still roam the woods, and province. In fact during Prudence's time resting she learns that their presence is no secret at all! Many bandits quite openly 'tax' the local civilians. Including her guards, servants, and fledgling house! As for her castle she discovers that it was originally built by Old Nae Barden, and a band of some 30 other bards. The clan existed up until recently, but vanished suddenly when the last lord took his place at the castle. Prduence also discovers her lands have a small number of rangers who do what they can they can to maintain the woods, but who have been pushed back by Lord Saxton's men. Finally, Prudence receives a letter from a courier. To Countess Prudence, the Blessed Alseid, and my beloved Fiance. I am glad to see you have taken residence in Bardenhold! I will soon travel there myself so that we can make our marriage official! This should appease the Baroness who obviously intended for us to marry considering she did not strip me of any of my titles nor lands! I am lucky to have such a beautiful, magical, and gift giving creature as my humble wife. I would love to discuss things with you more personally, and I will be sure to look after our domain whilst you do your important work for The Cohort Arcanum. With love, Henry Saxton, Lord of Abbadiel, Lord of Talmoere's Ferry, Count of Abbatuor, Lord of the Storm Tower, and your beloved fiance. Diesa Diesa you finish practicing your magic, and find that your spells are finally ready for battle! Congrats on becoming an eldritch knight! Diesa hears from her family that Throlgred Graybeard, the son of Overthane Grim Graybeard has recently been assassinated! Rumour has it that it was done by an agent of The Chimera, and the dwerren are clanging for war! The monsters cut poor Throlgred's head clean off, and gave his brain to The Chimera as a trophy! Lambert The village of Bleak Holm gladly welcomes Lambert to come stay with them at no cost! His meditations, and spiritual insights improve his powers while he is there. Additionally He gains 2 points of renown in Bleak Holm for both looking after the residents, and helping to repair the old church. Robert Robert spends time training, learning, and on the cosmic insight of the gods. Congrats on level 3! Takumir Takumir spends time honing his skills, and progressing as a fighter. Congrats on level 3! Shango Shango spends time meditating, training, and adjusting to his new life. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to result in any improvement to his abilities (not enough experience for level 2). Korak Korak spends his time living in squalid conditions, but leaves the month 48ss richer. Hedrin Hedrin digs all through the library of The Cohort Arcanum, but doesn't manage to find anything that he is looking for. Agatha Agatha spends time looking into Lord Saxton, but sadly she doesn't discover too much. She does however get the chance to read the letter he sent to her sister, as well as the rest of the information Prudence discovered about his activities (see above). She also receives a drawing from Emily. The toddler becomes particularly attached to Agatha. Darvius Darvius spends time practicing with the scepter, and discovers that it handles in the same way as a mace. Orithar helps him discover the properties of the weapon. Orithar Trisk Orithar spends some time researching the various items. Mother Seriena's Scepter This scepter has a large circular glass fish eye on the top of it. The weight of the weapon is completely off even for a mace, but the construction of it is quite beautiful. This weapon counts as a club that weighs 8 lbs., deals 1d6 bludgeoning damage, and 2d6 lightning damage. It does however come with a -4 penalty to hit. It likely has some importance to those fish people, but how so is a mystery. None of the other items appear to have any magical properties. Siegfried Morton Siegfried isn't able to find a single person even remotely interested in this proposition. Dragomir "Drago" Black Drago slacks off during his downtime, but somehow still manages to learn a few new things from his master. Tarkus Creed Tarkus unlocks some of his powers, and grows in strength. He also grows his knowledge of both performing, and persuasion. OOC note: Players are restricted to one major downtime action per week. I'll sometimes allow some other minor things, but learning a language would be considered a major action.
