[FREE][Session 59][6pm-10pm EST][22 December 2019][Sign-ups][Mission Undecided]

Posting this thread for Session 59 on 22 December 2019. The session will run from 6pm-10pm EST. Please make sure your characters are ready and approved. Please let me know which mission you would like to do from The Board of Fate . Ideally looking for 3-5 players. If this is your first game please make sure to mention that in your post! Also make sure to include which character you want to take on this mission. Finally, make sure to include your tier from The Tier List . If you don't have a tier it means you're Tier 2 (or higher if it's your first game!) Current signup list: Reserves:

I'd like to sign up (Tier 4), for mission 1Y.

I'd like to take Lindal on this, not sure what tier I'll be by the time this mission takes place, I am tier 3 but playing earlier in the week.  Misson 1Y seems fine for me, even if Lindal is only LvL 1.

I will sign up for this mission as a reserve. Depending on how home is looking, I might be unable to make it. Mission Vote would be 1Y, Tier 7

Apparently another group has gone to do Mission 1Y, but they discovered that an agent of the Raven is working behind the scenes.  So I think we should still go on this mission but now to find information about this Agent rather than going directly after them, which maybe above our power levels.

The only other option I see from the board of fate would be 1Z, but we would absolutely need someone with comprehend languages or some other way to magically communicate (possibly the linguist feat?).  Otherwise, I think we are stuck with 1Y, as everything else on the board is definitely higher difficulty than 1Y.

While my participation is still not set in stone, we could also do some toadhunting, if we do it right. Like, we could cull the number of toads Frogemoth has at its disposal, as 1X listed. We must just be careful to run away from the big one as soon as possible. Daikhar-Zhigun said they will use Zone of Truth as necessary.

Aye, I guess that would be a reasonable alternative.

1Y seems fine to me

The problem with doing 1Z is that we'll need people with powerful fire magic, like at min Fireball, to take on the Singing Tree.  The tree and the hollow man are immune to Necrotic, Radiant, and Force damage, as well as none magical weapons.  It's an hard fight, if not impossible fight, without fire magic.  1Y is better, we can help out the Tzarrena, foster better relationships with her country for the Cohort, and maybe put a dampener on the plans of the Raven, a complete win win scenario. So I'm still voting for 1Y.

I believe 1Y has been picked for this week already though, which would mean that we can't really go to it. Sessions usually happen in the same timeframe
