Adding more details now that I'm more awake: the campaigns will be set during the Republic Dark Age (about 2,000 years before A New Hope) and both Republic and Sith Empire characters are welcome.

Want to clarify on the era; is this the New Sith Wars? And while I have no issues with 5e, I'm curious as to why you're adapting Star Wars to it, when the Star Wars RPG Saga Edition runs on the D20 system already.

Well, I'm not adapting it. It's been a project by a bunch of fans. And mostly to get rid of some of the clunkiness that Saga Edition has. The project's been around for a couple years and is even recognized by Roll20! And yes, this is during the New Sith Wars.
