For the last several years I have been totally unable to get art on the Dev server. This was little problem since I simply stopped using it, but I would like to use the Dev server again now, and would like to be able to get art. When I start ANY of my campaigns on the dev server (including brand new empty ones), and click to the "Art Library" tab, I get a circling Throbber and a note "Loading Recent Uploads". It never ever goes away unless I search for something. If I Search for something, it get three throbbers. These three throbbers never go away. I never get any art. This has been going on for years, and I have just been ignoring it, but would like it fixed now if possible please. I use the latest version of chrome and a reasonably up to date windows 10. I have cleared the cache multiple times in the years this has been going on. ************* Additionally (and I don't know if this is related at all - it might not be), but lately when I exit my dev server campaign I get the following message. "An error was encountered Don't worry; it's not like you triggered the end of the world...right? If you message us about the error, please give us the error ID below so we can look it up: ec7601236d03481ea2e3b58009d71e27" ************ Again, this happens on any/all campaigns I have on the Dev Server. Any ideas / suggestions for how I can fix it? Can Roll20 fix it? Additional Notes: Here is previous forum post by me about this same issue that has additional information, additional screen shorts, additional reassurances, and log files. https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7010994/slug%7D This one https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/5175095/slug%7D says you need to be logged into the main server at the same time, and I am. In fact it happens if I have active VTT on both servers at the same time. This guy https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/5917971/slug%7D had the exact same problem, but his magically fixed itself a few days after he reported it.

EDIT/UPDATE: I do not have this issue using FF IF I log into the App server and the Dev simultaneously. I do still have this issue in Chrome even when logged into both App and Dev. So maybe it's isolated to Chrome...?
Hi Chris D. - Hmmm, very strange. As an experiment, since Vince stated that Firefox managed to work for them, would you mind re-resting this issue on Firefox as well and letting me know the results, please? Depending on the results, I'll probably end up having to escalate this to dev so they can further investigate and/or resolve.

I had not done that previously, since I did not have FireFox installed. However I installed it, and things work OK in FF. Specifically, if not logged in on the main server, I start out getting the exact same "Loading Recent Uploads" message. But if I then open another tab and log FF into the main server, and then search for something on the original tab I find it. So it does seem to be an issue solely on Chrome (which is, by the way, the browser I use exclusively). And it does seem that Chrome always, no matter what, gets the error that FireFox only gets when not logged into the main server. Also, and this does appear to be a totally and completely unrelated issue, when I log out of the Dev server, even with firefox, I still get the message An error was encountered If you message us about the error, please give us the error ID below so we can look it up: 3efb39047252465185896aff44264856

My experience seems to mirror Chris's, including the error when exiting a game on the Dev.
Hey all - I just wanted to thank you for the additional information provided. I'm escalating this to dev and I'll get back to you as soon as I can with additional information - I appreciate your patience and understanding. In the meantime, give me a shout if there is anything else I can do for you! :)

Heya Chris D. and Vince - Quick update : We're still working on this issue! However, huge favor, would you mind also providing me a network tab log and a new, different console log from when you try to search for or find any of your Art Library assets on the dev server, please? Directions for providing these in Chrome are below. Thank you so much for your patience and assistance in this! :) Open your developer tools. Click the Network tab. In the Network tab, select the Preserve log checkbox. You will see a red circle at the top left of the Network tab. This means the capture has started. If the circle is black, click the black circle to turn it red and to start recording activity in your browser. Refresh the page and reproduce the problem while the capture is running. After you successfully reproduce the issue, right-click on any row of the activity pane and select Save all as HAR with Content . Afterward, click the Console tab. Right-click anywhere in the console and select Save as.... Send us both files via email at Team@Roll20.net .

Just want to post that the issue is still happening, and now I am trying to use Custom Sheet sandbox on the Dev Server, and Firefox renders things differently than chrome does, and it is jarring to have sheets look so differently in the development environment than it does on the browser I use every day. If this could be fixed it would be wonderful.

Firefox and Chrome do render things differently and there is nothing anyone at Roll20 can do about that.

Gen Kitty said: Firefox and Chrome do render things differently and there is nothing anyone at Roll20 can do about that. Which is exactly why I wish that my Art library worked on the Dev Server when using Chrome. I don't want to have to use Firefox. And there probably is something that Roll20 can do about the Art library on the Dev Server not working with Chrome.

Hey Chris D. - Apologies for the delay here! Just wanted to update you that this issue is still on our radar, but it was pushed back to make room for some other recent release candidates, such as Custom Sheet Sandbox and Google Fonts . However, we're working on getting this through as soon as we can. If there is anything else you need in the meantime, please don't hesitate to let me know!
Hey all - I just wanted to provide another update here. This issue is still being reviewed right now for sprint integration, but we want to reiterate that we are certainly keeping an eye on this and we have a strong desire to fix it as soon as we can. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
